Keisha Williams serves as the Assistant Vice President, Learning and Organization Development, for Duke University and Health System. Her current department provides services to the University and Health System through three prongs: Leadership Development, Professional Development, and Consulting Services. In her role she collaborates with colleagues in quality performance improvement to design and implement process improvements where needed, ensures alignment of talent management activities across the enterprise, provides learning development strategies and programs that deliver business results, and continually assesses organizational status in terms of talent utilization, performance development, capacity, motivation, and other organizational effectiveness indicators.She previously served as the Executive Director of University Organizational and Professional Development at Virginia Tech. A few of the core initiatives that she spearheaded for the university are the succession planning efforts and a periodic review process for senior level administrators. Previously she helped found the Emerging Leaders in Public Health (ELPH), a minority-based leadership program focusing on managing through financial, human resource and communication crisis; and Management Academy, a program focusing on management and the development of a business plan at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Through her work with executive programs, she specializes in ongoing leadership coaching to groups and individuals.She is a certified provider of the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator, Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Organization-Behavior (FIRO-B), Discovery Leadership Profile (Decision Style Profile), and Press Time simulation for team building and strategic planning. Mekeisha received an undergraduate degree in Political Science from UNC-Charlotte with a minor in Spanish and a master's degree in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University; she is currently pursuing her PhD in Public Administration and Policy Studies at Virginia Tech.
Seydric Williams began his career in education with a strong commitment to student success and community engagement. He launched his professional journey in the Granville County School System, where he served in multiple leadership roles that helped shape his educational philosophy. He started as a sixth-grade mathematics teacher, where he developed a passion for student-centered instruction and academic excellence. His leadership potential quickly became evident, leading to his promotion as a middle school assistant principal. Demonstrating a deep understanding of both instructional strategies and school operations, he eventually took on the role of principal at Creedmoor Elementary School. During his nine-year tenure in Granville County, Seydric earned a reputation for fostering inclusive school environments, improving academic outcomes, and building strong relationships with families and staff.In pursuit of broader leadership opportunities, Seydric transitioned to Virginia, where he continued to expand his impact in the field of education. He served in Christiansburg and Roanoke in a variety of significant roles, including Executive Director of Elementary Education, as well as principal and assistant principal positions. These experiences allowed him to deepen his expertise in district-wide curriculum planning, school improvement strategies, and educational leadership at multiple levels.In 2013, Seydric brought his talents and vision for educational excellence to the Wake County Public School System. He began his tenure in Wake County as the principal of Creech Road Elementary School, where he focused on enhancing student achievement, supporting teacher development, and fostering a collaborative school culture. Recognized for his effective leadership and dedication to educational equity, he was appointed Northwestern Area Superintendent in July 2016. In this role, he has continued to lead with integrity and a strong commitment to ensuring that all students have access to high-quality educational experiences.
